Annual, monthly and daily traffic on the national road network, measured as average daily traffic (ADT) at the network's measurement stations.

INFORMATION:

The average daily traffic intensity of the road, province and Autonomous Community is an approximate calculation based on the average of the ADT recorded in each of the permanent and/or toll-road measurement stations for each of the units studied.

Definitions

  • Measurement stations:

    Locations where traffic on the main sections of the national road network is recorded. Measurement stations that take measurements 24 hours a day, every day, are described as permanent. In addition to the permanent stations, there are virtual measurement stations for sections of toll motorways.
